About The Item

The remains of Ionic temples with their beautiful surviving columns motivated the creation of the Ionic Side Tables, each one with tripartite columns missing one of its elements. Designed as an incomplete Ionic column, the base of this author design piece, presents the forms of the base and capital as the missing shaft has been replaced by a modern metal structure. In opposition to the classic constructive process, the Ionic Side Table has a delicate tapered design that allows less contact with the floor. Though to be an elegant decor element, Ionic Side Table completes both contemporary and classic interiors.
