About The Item
Designed in 1963 by Italian architect Carlo De Carli, the Tavolo a Dischi Dining Table is a study in structural ingenuity and refined materiality. The round table is crafted from 1.2" walnut-veneer birch plywood discs, stacked in varying diameters around a concealed metal core to form a graceful curve that supports the expansive walnut-veneer top. All wood components are FSC-certified and responsibly sourced. A burnished brass-toned steel band anchors the base, introducing a subtle contrast while enhancing durability. Available in two sizes, Tavolo a Dischi functions as both dining table and meeting place. It is a sculptural centerpiece designed to foster connection and conversation.
