Conceived in 1969 by Verner Panton, the VP Globe is arguably the most recognized Panton lighting design. The decorative pendant features a crystal clear transparent acrylic outer-shell with five internal reflector shades suspended by delicate steel chains. The new VP Globe introduces a brand new expression to the VP Globe family, featuring aluminum reflectors in a cool matte brushed finish with warm orange accents, a classic color in the world of Verner Panton. The orange color is optimistic and uplifting, filled with warmth and positivity. It serves as a perfectly vibrant contrast to the cool brushed aluminum. The color palette of the VP Globe collection has evolved through the years, and new versions has been added to give the iconic pendant more diverse expressions and suit the different eras. Every new iteration has been developed in close cooperation with the Panton estate, and in respect to Panton's original color theories.
